Help Allard Community League in the Edmonton-Wide Community League Bike Month Challenge! June 1-30, '26!

Dust off your bikes and get ready - the 2026 Bike Month Challenge is almost here. From June 1-30, this city-wide event is a fun way for Leagues to promote active transportation and recreation through friendly competition. Last year, 30 leagues rode nearly 144,000kms. That is four times around the globe! ACL cycled 1500kms! in 2026 we are looking to blow that record of the roads and trails. Who's ready to go further?

How to Compete:

Leagues will faceoff for prizes in 3 distinct categories:

~Total Participants: Get as many neighbours as possible!

~Total Team Kilometers: Track those long distance treks.

~Scavenger Hunt: Visit specific locations on the list!

Allard Rink

Spring/Summer is here—and so is the fun!

Our rink is the ultimate outdoor hangout this season. Bring the whole family and make the most of the warmer weather with space for everyone to play, relax, and connect.

Shoot hoops on our basketball nets that are at various heights, perfect for all ages and skill levels. Lace up and enjoy roller hockey on our full-size nets, or turn the rink into your own space for any game or activity you can dream up.

Need a break? Kick back at our picnic tables, connect with neighbours, and enjoy watching the kids play in a safe, lively community space. With garbage bins conveniently placed, it’s easy to keep everything clean while you enjoy the day.

This is more than a rink—it’s your community outdoor hub for warm weather fun.

Annual General Meeting

Thank you to everyone who joined us on March 25th for our annual general meeting. You can find the meeting package and minutes on our website.

Everything that happens within the ACL is made possible by the generous dedication of our board members and volunteers. This year, we were excited to see strong interest from individuals eager to get involved, resulting in five new members joining our existing team of six coordinators.
