SWEMSA combined with Allard Community League offers community indoor soccer for girls and boys in programs from U5 to U19.

Playing in a fully boarded pitch (like a hockey rink), games are 6v6, players change on the fly, no offside, pass the ball off the boards, and have lots of opportunities to score. It’s an exciting game with minimal stoppages.

A valid Allard Community League membership is required to register.  Click the link below for your households membership. Including community soccer registration, your membership gives you access to free community swims, all outdoor community rinks, and discounts.   Annual memberships are active Aug1-July 31.

Thank you to all our dedicated volunteers and coaches! Our last few seasons have been fantastic, full of fun and growth.

Mark Your Calendars! Community League Day is making its return September 19, 2026 from 5-10 pm.  From 5-8pm, Allard Community League (ACL) will be having food trucks, face painting, concession, balloon twisting and an Edmonton Public Library (EPL) tent with lots of activities for the kids.  The movie will begin at dusk starting at ~8:15-8:30. Popcorn and concession items will be available prior to & during the film. 

Be sure to bring lawnchairs, blankets and most importantly bug spray to enjoy the feature in comfort and style!

Our location will be at the ACL outdoor rink, while the featured movie is yet to be confirmed it will be updated here on our website once determined.  ACL will also have a porta-potty available at the movie location for those midmovie restroom breaks. Summer is here—and so is the fun!

Our rink is the ultimate outdoor hangout this season. Bring the whole family and make the most of the warmer weather with space for everyone to play, relax, and connect.

Shoot hoops on our basketball nets that are at various heights, perfect for all ages and skill levels. Lace up and enjoy roller hockey on our full-size nets, or turn the rink into your own space for any game or activity you can dream up.

Need a break? Kick back at our picnic tables, connect with neighbours, and enjoy watching the kids play in a safe, lively community space. With garbage bins conveniently placed, it’s easy to keep everything clean while you enjoy the day.

This is more than a rink—it’s your community outdoor hub for warm weather fun.

ACL’s dedicated Garden Committee is nearing the final stages of concept and design before our garden starts taking shape.  ACL has tripartite agreement for parkland that includes the community parking, rink shack, Allard Rink, and extends beyond the east side of the rink towards the fence behind the houses on the west side of Agar Green SW.  The league licensed land is outlined in the orange dotted line in this image.  Currently we are on track to begin construction of plots in summer 2026!  Our plan is to offer plots for community league members to begin growing their own gardens in Spring 2027!

We have been working through the Community Led Project process with the City of Edmonton. Pending Final City Approval, phase 1 will include; 5 raised beds & 10 in-ground garden plots as well as a water source.  Much of our inspiration comes from our friends at the Twin Brooks Community Garden.

Event sponsorship – Our signature community events are Winter Fun Festival (February) and Community League Day (September). We have other events such as our Garden Harvest Festival (September/October), Safe Diwali Celebration (November) Annual General Meeting (March), Earth Day Community Cleanup (April) Canada Day (July) and numerous ad hoc events.  We would be pleased to work with your business to structure a sponsorship to meet your needs, through either event donations, such as donations of goods in kind (food or beverages) and/or sponsoring specific event features.

Program sponsorship – We offer several programs throughout the year for our members including our soccer program.  Our ability to offer programs is dependent upon funding availability and member interest.

Advertising – We are working on a newsletter to be emailed to our membership newsletter twice per year (and also posted on our website and social media pages) that will have a broad reach and strong readership.  Advertisers can also be included on our website and social media pages with links directly to their websites.

Member discounts – We are pleased to link local businesses who have an interest in providing discounts for our membership.  An example could be your business providing a one-day discount or free samples to our members on our Community League Day.  We can promote information on these discounts via our membership package, our website, and our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Amenities sponsorship – The Allard Community League has several upcoming major projects that we are fundraising towards including a community garden, and a maintenance building to replace the Rink Shack at the Allard Park site.  We welcome both individual and corporate donations to any of these projects and can provide appropriate on-site recognition of donation depending on the amount

Raffles with Prizes – We frequently hold raffles with prizes such as gift baskets, gift cards, tickets or passes to events or attractions, service packages, etc.  We are registered with Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC).  Please consider donating to make our raffle a success!

● Option 1 – $800/year for a 3-year term commitment, plus initial printing and installation costs. Sponsorship includes advertising exposure on our website and all social media platforms as well as one day free private rental for corporate events, parties, etc.

● Option 2 – Details to be discussed and negotiated at time of proposal.  Website and all our social media pages - $300 per ad, includes quarterly social posts and one year recognition on our website.
