Membership Types

Individual membership is granted to an individual.  An individual membership gets one vote.  

Household membership is granted to all members identified as part of a single residential address.  A household membership gets one vote. 

Affiliate membership If you live outside of the boundaries, you are considered an affiliate member, you have all the benefits but are not able to vote.

Associate memberships may be granted to any business, institution or organization that has submitted a completed “Member Registration Form” and paid the required minimum membership fee.  Associate members will be featured on this website and at events. Associate members are non-voting members.

Honorary life membership may be granted to individuals who have contributed to the organization in an outstanding way. Individuals may be nominated for honorary membership by Special Resolution at any General Meeting. Honorary memberships have all the same rights and privileges as voting members, but the membership does not expire with time.

Free Skating at any Outdoor Community League Rinks

Find the closest outdoor community league rink to you on the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues website 

Find a Facility / League

Go to ‘Facility Amenities’ and select ‘Rink’.

Skate tags are included when you purchase your membership. 

Contact the Membership Director to arrange pickup of skate tags.

BENEFITS OF YOUR COMMUNITY LEAGUE MEMBERSHIP


The full membership fee goes to the Allard Community League. 


One Membership = One vote at our general meetings (electing board members, changing bylaws, etc) 


Buying a Community League membership means you are investing in your community. The membership fees will be used to offer programs and amenities as well as improve/add new amenities like building an Allard Community League Hall! There will be opportunities to be involved in fundraising, creating a neighbourhood watch program, advocating for civic issues, starting up sports/recreation programs and much more.

NOTE: If you want to participate in programs/sports not offered in your community league, please contact the League first (Eg. Blackmud Creek CL, Heritage Point CL, Chappelle CL). You may be charged a fee to use their programs/amenities.
